The Power of Association

Team Spirit is all about helping each team member reach their goals.  Below is an article written about the power of association.  Team Spirit was formed to help live out this power of association.

SOLID WORDS & SOLID PLANS

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.

Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person. Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere.

With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it. Be careful where you stop to inquire for direction along the road of life. Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. "A Mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses." The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.

Do not be mistaken. This is applicable to family as well as friends. Yes, do love, appreciate and be thankful for your family, for they will always be your family no matter what. Just know that they are human first and though they are family to you, they may be a friend to someone else and will fit somewhere in the criteria above.

"In prosperity our friends know us. In adversity we know our friends."

"Never make someone a priority when you are only an option for them."

A note from Frank:

I recently began reading a book entitled "Built on Solid Principles" by Richard M. Barry. It's about Frank VanderSloot and the his company's story. One of our team members Peggy asked me how we can purchase this product and Maura directed me to a GREAT site www.RMBarry.com this site is loaded with helpful and insightful publications and product information. Thank you Peggy and others for your continued desire to learn and build this business. Thanks Maura for your constant support, I am sooooo excited about the awesome team we have here right in our own back yard. Thank you team for the great momentum we have developed as we support one another. I have [linked to] a wonderful teaching by Dr. John Maxwell regarding momentum.

Aug 19- Sept 2: Great meetings are happening at Panera Bread.  In the past few weeks, Gayle, has met more than 6 people see knows at Panera (and a few that she didn't) and talk with them about joining the team.  As a famous man once wrote "Be prepared in season and out of season."  Gayle is living that out.

Aug. 12: We had another great meeting, this time at Panera Bread in the back of the restaurant.  Next time you see Frank, ask him is he has a clean penny.  He will know what you mean. We had plenty of laughs and learned a great deal from each other. Frank announced that TEAM SPIRIT is now over 25 strong and growing.  If you have anyone that could use some extra money, have them come out next Wednesday to Panera where we will have our Go Green Party.

Attention Contractors

We here at Wellgreen Team Spirit can provide an opportunity to build a business within your current business with very little effort. We already have local testimonies with contractors using our cleaning products.

With the continuing move to “Go Green” we offer a number of solutions that are affordable and can build a residual income.

Examples include anything from power washing to simple clean up. Any task performed around families, children, pets and vegetation is a real concern in today’s environment.

We offer more effective, eco friendly products at 30% to 40% discount. These consumable products can be used in your business as well as for personal use.

Frank is also willing to develop fliers for your independent business allowing your customers the opportunity to purchase the same products at the same discounted rate while creating a steady residual income for you to last a lifetime.

Aug. 5: We had a great kick off meeting at Silver Spring Mining Co. tonight.  Thank you to Joe and Pat for driving all the way from Ocean City to share their thoughts and experiences with us.  It is nice to have some one in our upline that would drive a total of 6 hours for a 2 hour meeting.  This is what TEAM SPIRIT is all about - SUPPORTING one another.

See you all next Wednesday at Panera.

Man Sickened by Cleaning Fluid Combo
AOL News (July 31) - A Florida man who wanted a pristine toilet ended up in the hospital after mixing a potentially deadly combination of cleaning fluids.

Michael Newton, 44, of St. Petersburg, was taken to Bayfront Medical Center on Thursday morning, the St. Petersburg Times reported. He was suffering from shortness of breath and irritated lungs and eyes.

Newton created a chlorine gas cloud when he combined bleach and an ammonia-based product to "make a stronger bathroom cleaner," St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue spokesman Lt. Joel Grenata told the paper.

Fire and hazardous materials teams were called to Newton's home. They ventilated the home and scrubbed the walls.

Chlorine gas has been used as a weapon of mass destruction and exposure to it can cause severe illness or death. Authorities warn consumers never to mix bleach and ammonia when using cleaning products.

Great Reading

Members of Team Spirit have been reading a great book called "The Essential Green You!" by Deirdre Imus, and it is excellent.

In 1950, health officials predicted that 25 percent of Americans would develop cancer.

By 1997 that figure had risen to more than 40 percent.

One in three women will develop cancer and one in two men will develop cancer in their lifetime. In the 40's, a woman's lifetime risk of developing breast cancer was 1 in 22- now, it is 1 in 7, and rising!

The prevalence of asthma in our population is doubling every 20 years.

Exposures to hazardous chemicals in the workplace kills more than 60,000 U.S. workers each year.

These statistics are very scary- we all NEED to go green and educate others about the importance of getting rid of toxic chemicals in our homes.

Don't wait, this is serious. Please send this to your customers and help them "go green". At Team Spirit- we are on a mission to make homes safer!
